There are attractive egg cups. And there are practical ones. Belle is both. The first is a result of Nymphenburg’s hand-worked porcelain mass, the latter of its designer’s ingenious idea. As in a specially-made nest, the Munich-based industrial designer Konstantin Grcic has the egg rest in the well-formed hollow of a spoon. The handle, with its coloured tip, ensures that the eggcup is both easy to use and to identify.
